Epic Empire A Hero's Quest Game Review (AOD #186)

Epic Empire: A Hero's Quest

Hey guys! Today we will check out Epic Empire, available on Android and iOS, made by Pocket Gems. I will be honest with you, this game does not impress at first however it is fun when you get to play it. Your mission is to take back your land from bandits, one piece at a time. This is one of those games that really need patience and time, literally waiting for your energy to refill or your mines to produce coins.

"Your mission is to take back your land from bandits, one piece at a time."

Each mission is an interesting blend of battles and story together with loot. Basic navigation around the map is done with tapping and fighting your enemies is done the same way. The key to victory is all about numbers, no strategy is involved here. If your armour and weapons are strong enough you will have no problem defeating your enemies. The gameplay of this game is pretty linear and it would be nice to see some variations.

Then there is the energy system, adding to the waiting time together with the coin mining process. To battle enemies you must spend energy and you do not have much. To unlock new areas and battle new enemies coins are needed. These two factors make the game slow paced and will drive a lot of players away as not everyone wants to pay real money for coins or energy. Nevertheless if you possess the patience you should try out this game, if not then you should try something different.

SCORE: 3 OUT OF 5
