Hey guys! Today we will check out The Elementalist, a game available on Android and iOS, made by Tengu Games. This is a simple RPG style game which puts you in the position of a hero that must use spells to save the world from destruction and ultimately become the Elementalist! The game does not involve movement or actual control of your hero, only static battles that if you win you progress to the next level.

The concept behind the battles is interesting, involving tracing a symbol accurately to attack your enemies until they die as well as tapping shields to defend yourself from attacks. Simple concepts and accurate executions work best in mobile games in my opinion and it is apparent in The Elementalist. However I would like to see more upgradeability options that could branch in different directions as well as more interesting animations and better graphics.

The game as a whole is great and you should definitely give it a try if you are into elements, RPG and something a little different than other options out there. So go ahead, download The Elementalist and start tracing symbols to unleash your attacks!
